Immediate Opening: Primary Counselor/Therapist


Immediate opening for a Primary Counselor/Therapist in Samaritan Recovery Community's residential treatment program. The ideal candidate will be a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC), with experience working with co-occurring disorders, or a credentialed mental health clinician with experience working with substance abuse disorders. Must have computer skills, be able to provide group and individual counseling, lectures, have a working knowledge of ASAM criteria, be able to produce treatment plans, discharge summaries, aftercare plans and other required documentation. Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment with a multi-disciplinary team. Candidate should be knowledgeable of 12 Steps and/or have personal experience in recovery.
